Project Background

Garraf oilfield is located in Nasiriyah, Thi Qar province, formation pressure 3800 psi, formation temperature 77 ° C. Required selective production for two zones and downhole pressure monitoring. Of which 13 wells utilized 4 1/2"completion string (with DHPG), another 7 wells utilized 5 1/2"completion string (with DHPG) to be run in 9 5/8" casing, it is a challenge for Packer and Completion tools selection.

Solution

· The main completion tools are as follow: TRSCSSSV, SSD, Travel joint, Retrievable packer, DHPG, Blast joint, Landing Nipple, Ball catcher etc. One single trip run with two packers, achieve selective production.

· For 7 ea 5-1/2” completion string wells, proposed RHA large bore packer, matched with 5-1/2” TRSV, SSD, travel joint, etc. tools, fully satisfy client’s requirement.

Achievement

Petro-king provided services in 20 wells from completion design, tools selection to installation and construction in pad A and pad P zone. By its precise well arrangement and strict construction, it eventually completed the Well safely and efficiently, average daily production rate is 4300 bbl/day.
