Project Background

The features of the well are deep, small clearance and high pressure in this block, and the cementing quality is unqualified and cannot satisfy the design requirement by conventional cementing methods.

Solution

Rotating liner is the most efficient method for liner running and to improve cementing quality. In the event that the top drive is not provided, rotating liner while cementing requires both a rotatable liner hanger and necessary surface tools, which is a big challenge.

Achievement

Petro-king successfully completed the first onshore rotating liner while cementing in China, with good cementing quality. Then in many successful applications in Xinjiang and Sichuan, Petro-king improved cementing quality in deep wells with small clearance, and high-pressure gas wells.
