Project Background

As the first parameter well in western china, weican 1 well exploration is very important for the resource structure of China.

Solution

· The target zone of weican 1 well is tight gas zone and shale gas zone. PK designed and completed the frac program base on the different reservoir.

· The main design idea for shale gas reservoir was from the network fracture, communicate and extension the fracture with the natural fracture, maximize the gas production area.

· For the tight gas reservoir, the main idea was control the fracture height and create the longer fracture, increase the PAD percentage and low proppant concentration.

Achievement

The success exploration and operation of weican 1 well was important for the south north china, it played significant role in the resource structure of China.
