Background

HH37P22 well is one of HONGHE oil field of SINOPEC HUABEI, completed at YANCHANG set Triassicsystem with 1401m long horizontal stage. It’s designed with16 stages stimulation, for the logging, and electrical measurement shows that the well property is bad, needed to be fractured. The well construction difficulties mainly lies in the very long horizontal section, high frictional resistance, and the irregular well trajectory, make the fracturing job difficult and take great risks.

Solutions

In terms of the tough part of operation in the Well, Petro-king adopted hydraulic setting packers for open hole and designed overall implementation program for our client. This solution accomplished 16-stage stimulation at 1401m of horizontal part in the Well; the proppant was totally input up to 185m3 with average prop rate being 24.6%; the sleeves was open smoothly, representing high efficiency in the process. After fracturing, the very high rate production was achieved. 

Significance

The smooth operation in the Well of HH37P22 made a technical breakthrough of fracturing technology in Honghe Oilfield., which further proves efficiency and reliability of multi-stage fracturing tools provided by Petro-king.
