Project Background

In the AZAR field, matrix acidizing is the normal stimulation technology used. But due to the low production rate, the customer is eager for the new stimulation technology to increase the stimulation result. PK prepare the well completion, acid frac proposal and the field operation for the clients to solve the problem.

Solution

· To solve the problem, 3 acid frac technical communication meeting were organized to illustrate the probably situation, meanwhile, the optimized fluid recipe was finalized by the lab testing.

· The main idea for the job was normal acid fluid system and diverting acid system, fully consider the pressure response change during the field operation, the job was done successfully and highly appraised by the clients.

Achievement

The production rate was increased to 4800 bbls/day compare which was 460bbls/day after acid wash, the result demonstrated the great effect of acid frac in YL. As the first acid frac job in YL, PK was highly appreciated by the customer as the design, operation and supervisor contractor.
